My engagement ring

Here is the ring Renato gave me last weekend. He gave it to me in Fish Creek Park, on a little footbridge like how I preposed to him. It was made by my best friend Tamara (see links) who is also a talented jewler. She made it to look like a wishbone and set a small moonstone on it. I love its uniqueness and personality.

I am now going to incorporate moonstones into my headpiece, I think they will go great with little garnets!

Where to have a Wedding Now?

I am now completemy tired of calling the Glenora Distillary. I have been trying to get a hold of them for months and... the same reply 'Well call you back" Well you didn't and I'm pissed. I know the wedding may be over a year away, but the point of having a long engagement is getting everything done EARLY.

Vent is over

Ren and I are going to conser alternate places. I have a few in mind, but we are sad because the Distillary was very meaningful for both of us, and thus perfect. There are, however, many more meaningful places for us to get married. One is Peggy's Cove, as we one year spent a christmas house-setting a beautiful B&B. I am going to try to get a hold of them and ask if I can rent the whole place out maybe for a weekend (a very expensive option, unfortunately). There is also a little school house in Peggy's Cove that can be rented for events as well. The problem with this place is that is VERY small, and may not accomodate all we wish to invite. There are lots of beautiful spots all over Nova Scotia that we must consider. So now I must hunt the perfect place down!

And... the wedding may be moved to the summer of 2008, Good thing my colours are summer-y and Fall-y!
