Wedding Venue
this past week we went all the way to NS and checked out the wedding venue
Here are some photos of what we saw, and we like it all!

There is a boathouse behind the building where you can rent canoes!

This is where the wedding will take place, chairs on either side, path in the middle
By those chairs is where it will take place, awesome view
there are some great rocks out there too
outdoor swimming pool
Indoor swimming pool and hot tub
Games room in the basement
best of all there are bunnies everywhere. The babies are out now, they will be full grown for the wedding. yay bunnies!

Shoes are amazing
I've finally gotten my shoes (ok, maybe 3 months ago). They are not as green as I had originally intended, nope. Red!

Dress, Colour, Shoes!
For the past 5 days I have been in Seattle visiting Kris, my parents came along, and we bought my wedding dress! I can't show the photo, but its awesome and not what i was expecting at all. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but pretty good considering everything else I tried on. The store was fantastic, if you are searching for a dress in the Seattle area please go to Amanda's Bridal Botiique, she has a great selection!
On the trip we also found some beautiful green sashes on sale that would go great with the colours I had already choosen. We bought 6 of them (just in case) and I plan on giving one to each bridesmaid (Kristie already has one) so that it is easier to find a dress. They can also be used for sashes, hair bands, boquet wraps or other decorations. I may even use one in my hair. When I get a camera I will post a photo of that
I still have to hunt for shoes, not easy when you have the feet of a 10year old boy. I want to wear flats and not be uncomfortable, after all the wedding will be outdoors so heels would only aerate the soil. Unfortunately, its fall and light green shoes are not in abundance. I will probably have to wait until the spring to find anything good, but these are nice...
